Glenda is a PhD Student with APHCRI Centre for Research Excellence in Primary Health Care Microsystems. Glenda's PhD project is entitled "The use of an electronic health record (EHR) in maternity shared-care". She is currently under the supervision of Prof Clarie Jackson and Dr Tina Janamian. She is presently co-author on 4 Cochrane Reviews and research interests include e-Health, maternity birth suite management and indigenous health.
She has received the Graduate Nursing award. Her work experience includes nurse manager on a remote indigenous community and working in the capacity of research officer in paediatric diabetes and at the Mater Medical Research Institute.
Glenda currently practices as a midwife at the Mater Mothers' Hospital and is a member of the Australian College of Midwives, APHCR.
