Associate Professor Sturman is a teaching-focused Associate Professor with the Discipline of General Practice, and a member of the Queensland Faculty of the RACGP. She is the Clinical Lead in Homeless and Addiction Medicine with UQ Healthcare.
She was the Academic Coordinator of the General Practice Rotation, from 2012 to 2015, and the Academic Coordinator of the Medicine in Society, Stream C, Rotation from 2013 to 2015. Nancy worked as a General Practitioner in the Western Suburbs of Brisbane for 20 years, and has worked as a Rural GP locum for over 15 years.
Nancy's research interests include Medical Education, Ethics and Professionalism, and Clinical Assessment. She chaired the School of Medicine Assessment Sub-committee from 2013-2016.
