Deborah is a general practice researcher and currently the Research Director of Southern Qld Centre of Excellence in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care.
Her employment highlights include developing a model of outreach case management for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people that has been adopted into practice.
Deborah’s current projects include, 'The health status and sociodemographic characteristics of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients with Hep C attending an urban primary health care service'; 'Knowing our adult patients – who are they and how healthy are they?'; and, 'I'm outta here: why patients discharge against medical advice - a qualitative study.'
